Founded in December 2020 as a venture initiated by Suzhou Medinoah (Meinuo) Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd., Shandong Longzen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. operates a roughly 2-billion-yuan, 95,000-square-meter pharmaceutical complex in the Economic and Technological Development Zone of Zouping City, Binzhou, Shandong Province. At full capacity the site is designed to produce 572 tons of active pharmaceutical ingredients, 30 million bottles of injectables, and 2 billion oral tablets annually, combining drug research, pilot-scale, and commercial production functions aimed at cultivating new and first-generic drugs as part of a broader ambition to become a leading Chinese CXO for specialty chemical drugs. The company has built a product pipeline centered on gadobutrol, alpha-lipoic acid (including its tromethamine salt), teneligliptin hydrobromide, and melogabalin besylate: its gadobutrol API has obtained a European CEP certificate and completed Korean DMF registration, its lipoic acid API has likewise secured a CEP certificate and Korean registration, its melogabalin besylate API has been accepted for review by China's CDE, and its teneligliptin hydrobromide API is expected to complete regulatory conversion by February 2026. Backed by its parent company's R&D platform, an ICH/FDA/EMA-aligned quality system, and flexible production scaling from gram to ton quantities, the company manufactures and trades APIs, intermediates, bio products, natural extracts, finished dosage forms, excipients, dietary supplements, and food ingredients, offering CRO, CMO, CSO, and CDMO contract services. It exports to more than 30 countries (about half of total output) and serves markets across North America, Latin America, Europe, Australasia, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
