Spanish public university in Burgos in Castile and León, created in 1994 when the Burgos campus separated from the University of Valladolid, with its rectorate in the Hospital del Rey building. Teaches through faculties of sciences, health sciences, law, economics, education and humanities and a higher polytechnic school, offering degrees in chemistry, food science and technology, nursing and occupational therapy, and carries out research in analytical and food chemistry, biotechnology and food safety, biomaterials and human evolution with its own research institutes and analytical services.
