Upon completion of his doctorate in Pharmacology at the University of Paris V René Descartes in 2007 about Risk Management Plan during pregnancy and breastfeeding, he joined the Center of Clinical Research in Cochin and Necker Hospital in Paris in 2005 where he directed research combining Perinatology and Pharmacology researchs. (www.premup.org). This led to the development of a structure in “Institut de Puériculture de Paris”. He worked also as a scientist in Necker University in EA 3620 “VIH Child-Mother Unit” . Since 2011, Dr Raphaël Serreau is a MD, Phd, associate Professor in Pharmacology at St Antoine Hospital, he was the responsible of the Medic-Al network in Necker Hospital in Paris to January 2017. Since 2013, Dr Raphael SERREAU is the head of preventive medicine unit in Orléans. He became Clinical Research Physician since may 2016 at Paris Leonard de Vinci University. Dr Raphaël SERREAU became in august 2017 the full director of Preventive Medicine in Orleans Metropole. He has a regular clinical activity in the emergency unit "SAMU 45" since 18th of September 2014 with a triennal convention cosigned with ARS centre Val de Loire/ CDOM du Loiret. Since 15th March 2019, He received an habilitation to manage clinical study (HDR) in Burgondy University in Dijon (CNU 48-03). He joined the Research Team of Prof Amine Benyamina in AP-HP Universitary Paris Saclay Hospitals : UR Psycomadd. Since the 11th of March 2020, Raphaël Serreau create the Clinical Research Unit "PARADICT-O" in Orléans Métropole. He joined the EPSM Georges DAUMEZON Hospital as a Public Health Specialist in Addictions in September 2021. Since September 2023, he will teach pharmacology in the new medical Faculty in Orleans. Since the 1st of January 2024, he joined the CNRS, at the Molecular Biophysical Center, NEURRIT Team in neurosciences department, pharmacology of the 5-HT7 receptor. On the first September 2025, Raphael Serreau become full professor in addictology In Orleans University Hospital.
