Novartis to cut ~130 jobs, ending small‑scale biopharma production in Basel by 2027

Novartis will stop small‑scale biopharma manufacturing at its Kleinbasel site by end‑2027, eliminating about 130 positions and moving related labs to Basel by 2028.
