South Korean food and pharmaceutical additive manufacturer established on 17 August 1959 at Hwaseong in Gyeonggi Province, the first Korean producer of chewing gum base, also making carboxymethyl cellulose, chocolate, colouring agents, sweeteners, flavours and raw materials for herbal medicine formulations used in confectionery, beverages, ice cream, candy, gum, toothpaste and tobacco.
