Dr. Ambroso is a board-certified toxicologist with 25 years’ experience in industry, including 23 years in pharmaceutical development and 2 years in petrochemicals. He has expertise designing, conducting, interpreting, and reporting toxicology studies of all types (safety pharmacology, general, reproductive, genetic, carcinogenicity), including investigational studies on mechanism of action. He has experience as a nonclinical safety assessment representative on drug development project teams for early and late stage projects including successful interactions with global regulatory agencies. He also has experience in predictive toxicology assay development, including a leadership role in a worldwide hepatotoxicity effort. Dr. Ambroso has worked with a number of diverse business groups in both the public and private sector developing treatments in multiple therapeutic areas. He has a broad background in biomedical science, with >10 years’ experience as a medical technologist and training in public health.
