I have worked in the public sector of Pakistan for more than 25 years in the fields of pharmaceutical management and regulations. Currently, I am working with the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) as a Director of Licensing Division. With a bachelor's in pharmacy and a master's in microbiology my previous study of PhD in Public Health at Quaid-I-Azam university Islamabad, Pakistan provided me with research skills and knowledge in public health. My experience as a radio presenter has strengthened my communication skills that’s why I am representing the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan as its official spokesperson and media coordinator. I am also the first editor of the DRAP’s Newsletter. As a public health advocate, I make short videos for public awareness.
