Eric Lacoste is a French veterinarian and preclinical scientist with over 25 years of experience in in vivo pharmacology, drug disposition, and quantitative imaging. He holds a DVM and has worked across veterinary pharmacokinetics, and dermatological disease models throughout his career in both industry and contract research settings. After early work in veterinary pharmacokinetics at INRA Toulouse and in animal health drug development. In 2013, he founded Imavita S.A.S., an independent French preclinical contract research organization based in Toulouse, specializing in multimodal in vivo imaging and disease models for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. Imavita's capabilities span bioluminescence imaging (BLI), fluorescence molecular tomography (FMT-3D), optical coherence tomography (OCT), ultrasound, thermography, PET/CT, and 7T MRI, applied to oncology, inflammatory dermatology, and drug biodistribution studies. His scientific interests include quantitative imaging biomarkers, the 3Rs principles in animal experimentation, PK/PD modeling, and the integration of non-invasive imaging into preclinical efficacy and drug disposition studies.
