Joined as a Senior Lecturer with Universiti Kuala Lumpur-Royal College of Medicine on July 2, 2018. Appointed as the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy and Health Sciences since September 2021. Have extensive experience in pharmacy practice. Had worked at 4 different hospitals over a span of 15 years and was Head of Pharmacy Department, Hospital Kuala Lumpur, the largest tertiary hospital in Malaysia from 2015 - 2017. Also have extensive experience in pharmacy policy implementation and monitoring as one of the key persons in the Malaysian National Medicines Policy implementation. In areas of health policy, was also part of the ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting for Health Development (SOMHD) in 2014 and the focal person for Malaysia in the OIC-Strategic Health Programme for Action for Vaccines and Pharmaceuticals in 2013-2015. Was involved with planning and management for 11 years. Retired after 36 years in civil service. Have been in academia in the last 6 years. Research interests include pharmacy practice, health and pharmaceutical policy, social and administrative pharmacy and patient safety.
