Renata PLC (formerly Pfizer)

Bangladeshi pharmaceutical and animal health company headquartered in Dhaka, which began in 1972 as Pfizer (Bangladesh) and became Renata Limited in 1993 when Pfizer transferred its shareholding to local investors, later renamed Renata PLC and listed on the Dhaka and Chittagong stock exchanges. Manufactures and markets human pharmaceuticals including oncology and hormone products, animal health and nutrition products, and exports to markets in Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas from plants in Bangladesh.
