Philips MR Imaging Systems Software Issue May Halt Exams

Philips has identified a software issue affecting its Magnetic Resonance (MR) imaging systems that run software versions R5 and R11. When scan parameters are manually set so that reconstruction demands exceed the system's available memory, the examination may be terminated during the image reconstruction phase. The system then freezes, preventing image generation and necessitating a full system restart to resume operation.
