Samyang Biopharm specializes in commercializing first generics and drug delivery system (DDS)-based modified drugs for cancer treatment, along with developing small-molecule drugs, new biologic drugs, and cancer virus vaccines. Exporting oncology products to more than 25 countries, with its cytotoxic manufacturing facility authorized by authorities in Korea, Europe and Japan, the company is constructing a new facility to expand its contract development and manufacturing business, expected to achieve full cGMP operation upon completion in 2020; in October 2018, Samyang Biopharm established Samyang Biopharm USA Inc. in Cambridge to enter the US market, focused mainly on pharmaceutical development for immuno-oncology and rare diseases, manufacturing cytotoxic APIs, cytotoxic injections and transdermal patches.
