Seoul Pharmacists Association Holds Interim Delegate Meeting, Adopts Government Demand Resolution

Seoul Pharmacists Association (Chair Kim Wi‑hak) held an interim delegate general meeting on the 5th at the Korean Pharmacists Association main auditorium. The meeting reviewed agenda items on responding to government policies and adopted a resolution containing demands to the government. An urgent motion was also passed, calling for the convening of the Korean Pharmacists Association interim delegate general meeting to strengthen the association’s response capability. Attendance comprised 117 delegates present in person and 102 proxies, totaling 219 of the 253 eligible delegates. Chair Han Dong‑ju opened the session, noting that the expansion of telemedicine, full‑scale drug delivery, increased safety‑stock medicines, and the spread of warehouse‑type pharmacies shift medicines from health‑care to distribution‑consumption domains, affecting pharmacists’ roles and professional expertise. The meeting underscored the association’s intent to engage the government on these policy changes.
